Police Department Employee Complaints are taken serious. Complaints must be filled out on the approved complaint form provided above. Statements must be notarized. City Hall has notaries available for your convenience. All Complaint will be handled and addressed via Chief Kyle. Any complaints against Chief Kyle will be addressed via Mayor Warden or City Administrator for proper processing.

Child Safety Zone Map - Premises Restrictions of Registered Sex Offenders
The City of Bertram under Ordinance No. 232-07913, as amended under Ordinance No. 232-030921 - established the Child Safety Zone Map illustrating those areas designated as places where children commonly gather (a/k/a"Child Safety Zones"), which includes, but is not limited to public parks, public library, private and public school, amusement arcades, City of Bertram baseball/softball/athletic fields, movie theater, video arcade facility and youth centers, whether private or public, having the meaning as defined in Article 481.134 of the Texas Health and Safety Code, indoor and outdoor amusement centers that cater primarily to children, amusement parks, public and commercial and semi-private swimming pools, child daycare centers, and public or private school or daycare bus stops; a Child Safety Zone does not include a "church" as defined under section 554.251 of the Texas Insurance Code.
